A Silent Vigil of Loving Kindness
We are a silent, meditative presence who will gather on Sunday, April 11, 11:30 AM-12:30 PM on the lawn of the Centre Congregational Church, Main Street, Brattleboro under a banner that reads
Holding a Space
of Loving Kindness
For All Living Beings
It is most appropriate at this time in our world that the Loving Kindness Vigil returns to the streets of Brattleboro to serve as a living reminder of the essential goodness that inherently resides within each one of us. After this inaugural event, we will gather periodically in the weeks ahead at other places in town.
Whether for a few minutes or the entire hour, we welcome everyone to join us in extending sentiments of loving kindness to family and friends, neighbors and strangers, kindred spirits and adversaries, human and non-human beings, alike. And to ourselves, as well. People may choose to stand, kneel, or sit in a chair they bring.
Please mask and observe social distancing.
